El torneig es celebra a Osaka Municipal Gymnasium, a dos minuts caminant de l'estació de metro de Namba ([http://www.sumo.or.jp/eng/ticket/honbasho_joho/osaka.html mapa]). Per arribar-hi des de Kioto podem agafar:

-Les portes solen obrir cap a les 8am i primer hi ha combats menors, etc. A partir de les 3pm comença la ''segona divisió'' i a les 4pm els bons (arribar abans per veure entrada, etc.), que acaben cap a les 6pm.
