Ruta
- D'Edinburgh a Liverpool en cotxe, entre el 15 d'agost (dissabte) i el 13 de setembre (diumenge) de 2009, són 30 dies (19 laborables). El juny anterior haurem estat a NYC i London
- Vols BCN-Edinburgh directes només n'hi ha diumenge migdia, dimarts vespre i dijous nit. Hi ha dues possibilitats:
- Si Albert i Laia poden volar el dimarts al vespre (19:10h.), nosaltres dos suposo que marxariem també dimarts, ja sigui gastant el dos dies o no (els podriem posar per exemple al final de London o al principi de NYC). Com a molt podriem marxar diumenge per estar un parell de dies més a Edinburgh
- Si Albert i Laia marxen dijous a la nit, nosaltres ens podriem plantejar fer alguna altra cosa abans (Balears, París o Berlin, per exemple, des d'on hi ha vols directes, o inclús ressucitar tema Bergen agafant dijous i divendres anteriors de vacances). O simplement volar dimarts a Edinburgh...

Vols i desplaçaments
- Vol Barcelona-Edinburgh: flyglobespan té directes els diumenges 13:35h., dimarts 19:10h. i dijous 21:10h.; també vola des de Palma, Eivissa, etc.
- Escòcia-Irlanda: Stena Line va de Stranraer (sud Escòcia) a Belfast en 2h per 165€ cotxe i 4 persones. Pel mateix temps i preu P&O Irish Sea va de Troon (sud Escòcia) a Larne (prop Belfast). També es pot sortir de Liverpool, etc., si decidim anar abans al nord d'Anglaterra que a Irlanda
- Irlanda-Gales: Irish Ferries fa rutes:
- Rosslare (sud Irlanda) a Pembroke (sud Gales, Pembrokeshire Coast) en 3:45h per 210€ cotxe i 4 persones
- Dublin a Holyhead (nord Gales, costat Snowdonia) en 2h per 240€ cotxe i 4 persones (o 3:30h per 225€)
- Vol Liverpool-Barcelona: Mirar si podem modificar la reserva Barcelona-London amb easyJey; també podriem tornar des de Manchester (no easyJey) en funció del futbol, però el calendari no es sabrà fins a meitats de juny...

Les highlands estan molt be, lo tipic, molt verd i molt fred, jo he estat a Skye, un illa de les highlands molt chula,
i s'hi pot anar en cotxe. Un altre lloc que esta be es Pitlochry, al cor de escocia. Jo vaig anar a un camping alla i
hi ha moltes caminades a fer. no se si ho escric be.
Tot allo era a prop de inverness! desde inverness es pot conduir a skye en 2.30-3 hores, ho podrieu combinar.
The west coast is quite scenic if you are wanting to stay out of the cities. You can fly to inverness or glasgow and then
travel up or down hte west coast and maybe see some of the islands. skye and mull are good or if you want to go further the
outer hebrides are beautiful but a bit further away.
- Jo faria d'Edinburgh (+/- abadies dels borders) cap amunt a Inverness (passant per Stirling), i baixar per la costa oest (i illes), tot i que a l'est sembla que també hi ha coses xules (p.e. castell a Stonehaven). - Del 7 al 31 d'agost hi ha el festival d'Edinburgh, així que s'hauria de reservar hotel amb temps. A la pròpia web del festival recomana alguns allotjaments (apartaments, etc.)

El interior es un poco aburrido, exceptuando lugares puntuales, lo más chulo es la costa y en concreto el oeste. Desde Limerick tienes
Kerry al sudoeste (con el parque nacional de Killarney, el ring of Kerry y la península de Dingle, que es una maravilla), y Connemara
al noroeste, que para mí es lo mejor de Irlanda. Galway es una ciudad estupenda para salir de juerga. Limerick es un poco chungo, hay
mucho chandalero, coches tuneados y bandas de macarras. Vivo en Dublín y he estado ya varias veces por allí, no sé cómo de alicatado
tendrás ya tu itinerario, pero si quieres te puedo recomendar algunos sitios. Por cierto, de camino a Limerick, no dejes de visitar
Clonmacnoise (googléalo, ya verás que guapo es) y la rock of Cashel. Están en el top 10 de todo viaje a Irlanda

A part d'Snowdonia (nord) hi ha dos parcs naturals més al sud: Pembrokeshire Coast (costa, clar) i Brecon Beacons (muntanyes, i per allà hi ha cascades Ystradfellte, etc.)
